Contrary to what another reviewer stated, the wood was NOT teak, it was some other cheaper wood painted chocolate brown. Also, the top is NOT heavy canvas, it's a lightweight polyester. The main shaft is slightly warped. Pully system is marginal. Doesn't repel rain very well. It is probably worth the money at $30, but I thought it would be nicer. To read the other reviews, this must be the deal of the century, but it is really only an average product at best. I would have gladly paid more for a better product.
For the price, you can't beat it and the shipping was so quick I couldn't believe it. From current use in moderately windy weather it looks like it will survive just fine.

Nice umbrella for the lowest price I've seen anywhere. Material is not canvas, but it's a study synthetic that looks good. It was backordered, but was shipped on the date they indicated. Correspondence was honest and polite. Easy to put together and to operate.
When I saw this market umbrella on Amazon, I thought it was too good to be true-- the price was just too low. But after a month or so I checked back, and all the reviews were five stars.
